About CSWind UK

Who We Are

The factory was purpose built and fully operational in January 2002 as a subsidiary of a global Danish wind turbine manufacturer and since then has supplied towers all over the world.

The factory was sold and the plant and the assets acquired by Wind Towers (Scotland) Ltd in May 2011 before the takeover by the existing owners, CSWind, on April 1st 2016.

During 2016, CSWind will make a £27 million investment in the facility. The investment will increase production volume and capacity at the existing onshore wind tower factory and allow for the fabrication of larger diameter towers for the offshore wind sector.

CSWind has factories in China, Vietnam and Canada, and has already manufactured more than 7,500 towers worldwide.
